Our mindboggling mindsets

People react in various ways when they are at varied positions. Sometimes things may go from bad to worse. But mostly, the very context of how we think is the one to blame (and sometimes to praise) for whatever that happens around us. I have classified people as those who are Optimistic, those who are Realistic and those who are Pessimistic. Philosophers, right from the past have pointed out that Optimistic are the ones who succeed the most and the people who are Pessimistic are those deemed to fetch failure after failure. I have a different concept:

It doesn't matter whether we are Optimistic, Pessimistic or Realistic.
It is the way we proceed with our ideology that decides what we are going to achieve!
When we are optimistic we fell something like this: "Right, I can do this!" If we move on with the same attitude, without any doubt, we are trudging in the path of success. When we are optimistic, we have to make sure the budding confidence of optimism shouldn't grow into over-confidence. Too much of anything is good for nothing.

When we are realistic, we understand what we have fetched and what is left to be etched. This, as I feel, is the most centralized mind. We know our pros and cons and we know our shortcomings too. To be precise, we can know our capability. When we have this mindset, we have to take cue from our achievement and use the same in our shortcomings to bring out the best in us.

Finally, when we are pessimistic, we are short of the confidence and belief in our strengths. Making people come out of this painful feeling is quite tough. A pessimistic person, after viewing is debacle must not lose his heart and conclude, "Well, I have failed now. I am a loser." This will lead to continuation of failures. Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.

We have to analyze where we've went wrong and make sure, he same mistakes aren't repeated the next time. That shows the difference between a level headed man and others. We have to show that we are people of substance and those who can achieve glory in whatever matter focus upon.

I'm a 15 year old and this is what I know from all my past experiences. The world is still novice to me when I'm compared to the people around me. If my work has any shortcomings, you can tell me about it and I will move on with whatever mindset I have to make sure the loopholes get filled up. Have a nice day!

Cheers,
'Gopsay' Gopalakrishnan.
