When I am at school, one classmate or the other would come to me and say, "Oh, buddy! You've really started studying for the exams. You are not talking as much as you used to do previously!" Back home, my parents now take the turn to say what they feel ( oh, they actually yell) , "Hey! Look at your friends. They've started concentrating on their studies. I'm really worried what you are going to do! You do all sort of things other than studying and those things are just humbugging you." Crazy world! Crazy world!
I was determined to stop spending time in Orkut, chatting and blogging when I stepped into this academic year. By then, I used to be using up some 2 hours everyday. As it turned out, the two hours reduced to 1 hour. Dad would say, "Come on, give up this one hour and use that for studying." I too did it with little success. Now, with March 18th firmly instilled in my mind, I'm here in internet for roughly 6 hours a day, a drastic improvement of the statistics, but vice-versa on my count.
The Board exams for me are supposed to start from March 18th and end on April 8th. As one of my best advisers, my Dad quips, "Have you forgotten that your Board exams are gonna start on the 18th of March?" Little does he know my approach to the exams. I reply him back, "Dad, the exams are going to end on the 8th of April." Crazy world! Crazy world!
Three years ago, I declared, "Dude, you look so obese. You would take a hundred years to get slim and look fit!" after seeing me oversized when I broke my leg. Now, on seeing me fit again, I wonder, "Hey, I know that you can become fit only after 100 years. But you've done that in 3 years!" Crazy world! Crazy world!
After having done all this, I just wonder whether its the world that's crazy or is it, well, is it me! :) A reality check's ahead!
