What's the sound?

It was late in the night.
I was working with the various assignments given to me at school . Meanwhile, I was having my earphones on and I was entangled in the sound of music. Then, getting bored of more and more music, I switched off my MP3. I started hearing a sound, an uniform sound. "Was it the sound of wind whizzing past my house?", I thought. Then an afterthought struck me, does wind blow uniformly? Scolding myself for some idiotic thinking, I left it. But my ears couldn't escape that sound, that uniform, enchanting sound.

I couldn't avoid guessing what it would be. (Was it the thought of my crush? Oops! I don't have one!) Was it my mom who'd left the tap open? (My mom and I were highly prone to unnecessary arguments about this issue that once an argument such as that one stretched for more than 5 hours...). Being busy doing nothing, I tried to guess some other thing.. But, I finally considered that that was the only guess of some sense.. Lazily, I stood up, searched all the rooms to see whether any taps were open.. Nops! I couldn't find any taps open.. Just then, I had a sudden thought of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.. Another afterthought again, I said to myself, "Haha! Are you trying to be a detective? You're fit enough only to read those books, bloke!"


But I certainly couldn't avoid that sound... Where was it from???
I searched my house all over again.. Again, same result, nothing of importance.. I wandered around the house, probably a little disappointed. I aimlessly walked around like a hopeless spy remembering Rowan Atkinson in Johnny English.


Suddenly, my eyes were fixed on the window sill, I could see droplets of water hanging on it...
There, it dawned on me, the real reason behind the sound.. I went to the balcony door and opened it.. It was the rain, the belligerent rain, hustling and bustling through the thin air...
My mind had another afterthought, "How the hell did you miss guessing this out."



- Mind it! This is just an imagination. I wanted to give a lively feeling to my thought through my words. Do send in your comments on this topic. And again, I maintain that I don't have a crush! :-)

God, the creator of 'life'

God is the creator of life. He created life so that the precious gifts of nature can be rightfully and gleefully experienced. God created fishes to rule the aquatic life. God created the birds to represent the generation that rides on the motto 'We fly high'. And not to forget, God created humans whom he thought will represent the driven by INTELLECTUALS AND INSTINCT-PEOPLE.

God has done his best to authoritatively be the author of life. Life simply doesn't represent the birth and death of a person. A man is said to have fulfilled all the mottoes of his life only if he has set a trend for others to follow . LIBERTY, that God gave us exclusively has been utilized for all the wrong reasons and some reasons too. 'LIBERTY WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE IS ALWAYS IN PERIL. KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT LIBERTY IS ALWAYS IN VAIN,' said a philosopher.

God has created certain benchmarks by limiting the use of liberty up to a certain limit. God has never made anyone look inferior or superior, which is by far the most important of all the work God had done for us.

The important thing of life is to attain the purposes of having lead the life in a better note. The task of forgiving others for the mistakes they had committed was splendidly shown by God. This set the standards for the proverb, 'TO ERR IS HUMAN, TO FORGIVE DIVINE'. Man has always lead a life by not forgiving others. But God had set an example for a life without forgiving. VINDICTIVENESS IS THE WORST DISEASE OF LIFE'.

If someone deserves the credit for the greatness of life on earth, it is none other than God. God took the positive note of everything. He wanted a change in the world. Therefore, he became the change and inspired others to fulfill the needs of life. Albert Einstein famously once said, 'IF YOU WANT A CHANGE IN THE WORLD, YOU BE THE CHANGE'. God was the change and the world became a better place. The success of life should always be interpreted with God, for, he authored 'life' impeccably and exceedingly well.

When God created earth, the nature was spread in both of his hands to be taken. Life on earth accepted it gleefully and enjoyed it. WHEN RESPONSIBILITY BECKONS US, IT IS EASY TO BE TAKEN. BUT STAYING UP TO THE DEMANDS OF THAT RESPONSIBILITY IS WHAT IS A CLASS APART. God made us realize the importance of life.

Life is the art of being peaceful and enjoying it without forgetting the need of the hour, Responsibility. Life is said to be beautiful only if it is lead rightfully. The rights and values were given to us by God through his sons and daughters. Life is like a painting on the wall without an eraser to rub off the errors, mistakes (and problems of life).

God has always given us the maximum possible values and advices on leading the life. The way we respond when problems beckon us were given to us by God (I am in direct conflict with this idea at times!!). God, in all possible ways has been a Trend-setter in showing the better part of life at every turn of the sphere and so, he deserves to be called the Author of 'Life'

- This was what I wrote on the topic 'God, the author of Life' for an exam on Value Education. Sadly, the values that we have with us aren't interpreted in the best of manners. I am waiting to see the comments. I do know that this may not be applicable to reality at times! With an essay that, as I feel, has covered every dimension and question dealing with God, this is Gopalakrishnan signing off!

What is the root cause of success?

"SUCCESS" is a word of utmost importance in a person's life... A student wants to be successful in his academics. An employee wants his job to be successful. A businessman wants his ventures to be successful. An employer wants his firm to be successful. A player wants to be successful. SUCCESS according to dictionaries mean the positive termination of a work. But success to we people means a lot more than that.


SUCCESS LIES IN THE EFFORT AND NOT IN THE RESULT. Everyone finds the success that's innate with effort. It is the effort that finds us the success. I cited some examples above about success. A student, an employee, a businessman, an employer, a player, all want to be successful, alright! But from where did this success originate? It is without doubt, in the effort that one takes.


The root cause of success is, without doubt, EFFORT. But does it give us the utmost satisfaction? No. When the result of an effort is known, and when it does point out that it is a success, it is then that we find the complete significance and essence of success.
A positive result is an afterthought of success which has been achieved through effort. Yet, it is the result which gives a jubilant feeling to the person. The effort is given less credit even though it deserves a lot more!

The essence of a living being on earth!

I've always been pondering about the real need a person possesses to live on earth. There were individuals of positive influence and people of the other sect too... But that doesn't matter.. A person on earth is usually contented by doing some work. The work may be giving the world a positive or negative result. We remember the way Niel Armstrong spoke in a splendid manner when he set his foot on the Moon, "This is a small step, but a giant leap to mankind!" We still keep that in mind. Everyone in this world gave their cheers for it without distinguishing that it was an American win. They considered that it was a win for mankind over the illustrious nature. It is this kind of positive visualization that it is required in this millennium. A positive thought is usually a result of strategic win over the negative influence. Albert Einstein, once said, "IF YOU WANT A CHANGE IN THE WORLD, YOU BE THE CHANGE." Analyzing his words can point out that he was a sort of person who always wanted a radical change in the world. His rational talks expressed it in an impeccable manner.



The present generation is bubbling with radical thoughts that world hasn't seen such a lot of courage earlier. This generation will consider the words of Winston Churchill and Ernesto Guevara over the literary thoughts of William Shakespeare.
Therefore, radical thinking is highly preferred in this world. The word 'Radical' simply means a change, a new idea. THIS IS THE AGE OF INNOVATION and people have to accept it because that is what is going to drive the human thoughts for the time to come. Russia and Cuba were some of the nations that were always looking to follow the ancient thoughts and customs.. But now, what are we seeing? We are seeing what is a changed world. In no time, Gandhi's words of Ahimsa (Opt patience over sudden instinct) have hit the museums and even people, who once followed it have refurbished their ideas saying those words are ought to be forgotten in this so called new world.. So what is the positive thing in here? It is nothing but analyzing failures and adopting techniques so that this feeling will arouse the feelings of a person to perform, perform in a far more better way..
