Joy and Pleasure

The world can be compared to the universe. The universe contains numerous stars which are different from each other. Similarly, the earth has people, each person unique in their own aspects. The people are known in their society primarily based on their economic class (sadly, that is not the case when it comes to nation as a whole).

Pleasures are known to be better than joy at times. It has succeeded in making people enjoy in their life. Pleasures are not born easily. . It is born when people enjoy something the most (be it anything). That is what has got them such a position. They must have initially been poor in the level of enjoyment too. Now, they may seem to be giving a person some really good enjoyment.

Joy is what is natural. A person doesn't need something to making him enjoy the joy. The joy will spontaneously get him to be happy. This is pure and happens naturally. Joy is up there for a purist to be happy with. If we are going to be happy with something around us, what else do we want?

Pleasure is something that will make you enjoy. It is not what you enjoy yourself, but what you are induced to enjoy. Joy is like a déjà vu with happiness. Pleasure wants everyone to enjoy. It is not what is enjoyed within the self. It wants the people, the strangers to enjoy with it. This isn't genuine. Joy is what props up in our soul. The inner mind experiences it with utmost happiness. It doesn't take care whether anyone around it enjoys. All it wants is happiness entangled with satisfaction for having it.

Pleasure is Instantaneous Happiness.
Joy is Eternal Happiness.
Now we can choose between Joy and Pleasure!

- This was what I felt as a difference between joy and pleasure. As the first paragraph points out, every person's opinion differs as people are unique. So, make sure what you feel is reflected as well because this is all about the various opinions. Also, do comment on this article

Beautiful observation. I share similar views. Keep posting. :) Sometimes I feel Joy is more meaning full than pleasure. I think I've read an old poem about this too. :)

P.S. I am following your blog and I'll always comment on you posts, because it gives me joy :)
